About Jaffe Law

A boutique dental law firm focused on practice acquisitions, sales, DSO transactions, ownership transitions, contracts, leases, and real estate matters for dentists nationwide.

Why Jaffe Law Exists

Dental practice transactions are not generic business deals. Buying a practice, selling a practice, joining or leaving a DSO, negotiating an associate buy-in, or signing a dental employment agreement can affect income, control, clinical autonomy, real estate obligations, and long-term career options.

Jaffe Law focuses on the documents and negotiations dentists actually face: Letters of Intent, Asset Purchase Agreements, Stock Purchase Agreements, disclosure schedules, partnership agreements, operating agreements, employment agreements, non-competes, commercial leases, lease assignments, and closing deliverables.

The firm was built for direct attorney involvement. Connor Jaffe handles the matter personally from first review through closing coordination, with practical guidance focused on moving the transaction forward while protecting the points that matter.

Connor founded Jaffe Law to represent dentists through the business moments that define a practice: acquisitions, sales, DSO transactions, ownership transitions, employment agreements, lease negotiations, and real estate issues tied to a deal.

He has concentrated his practice on dental transactions and has handled everything from smaller private practice acquisitions to multimillion dollar sales, DSO transactions, ownership restructurings, and complex separations. That range gives him the judgment to handle transactions of every size without losing sight of the practical details that determine whether a deal closes well.

Jaffe Law is intentionally narrow. Dentists work directly with Connor on the terms that determine purchase price, risk, control, timing, restrictive covenants, lease obligations, and post closing responsibilities.

Legal & Business Training That Actually Matters

Connor holds both a J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Miami. Law school teaches the structure of transaction documents. Business school adds the deal lens: valuation, risk allocation, financing, incentives, and the practical economics behind the contract language.

That combination matters when a dentist is reviewing an Asset Purchase Agreement, evaluating a DSO proposal, negotiating an associate buy-in, or trying to understand whether lease, employment, and closing terms support the larger transaction.

Confident Across Deals of Every Size

Connor has specialized experience across dental practice acquisitions, sales, DSO transactions, associate buy-ins, ownership transitions, contracts, and dental office real estate. He is equally comfortable leading a multimillion-dollar transaction with multiple counterparties or guiding a dentist through a smaller first acquisition where every decision carries personal weight.

That depth matters when negotiations become complicated. Connor identifies the terms that materially affect the client, sets clear priorities, and keeps the deal moving without creating unnecessary friction.

Concentrated Dental Transaction Experience

Before founding Jaffe Law, Connor worked at a firm that handled dental practice transactions every day: acquisitions, sales, DSO affiliations, associate agreements, partnership documents, and lease issues connected with practice deals.

That experience provided repeated exposure to the patterns that show up in dental transactions: LOI leverage, purchase price adjustments, seller carryback notes, indemnity, disclosure schedules, restrictive covenants, associate transition terms, lease assignment timing, landlord consent, and closing coordination.

That focus led directly to founding a dental law firm built around the transaction needs of dentists.

Contracts, Real Estate, and Closing Pressure

Connor's background also includes contract work at IMG Tennis and commercial real estate transaction work at a Fortune 500 company in New York. Those environments involved sophisticated counterparties, tight timelines, multiparty coordination, and deal documents where small details carried real consequences.

That experience informs the way Jaffe Law handles dental transactions today: practical contract review, clear negotiation priorities, careful lease and real estate analysis, and close attention to execution from first draft through closing.
